"Walk like an Egyptian"

Today was a very productive day, I must say. Had school all morning. Took an extra credit quiz my kind sociology Professor let me take a week earlier than everyone else due to my absence next week. Had an Earth Science test that was kind of ok. Not too sure about it. Let's hope for the best though. After classes were over, Lizzeth and I headed to Milk to check out their menu and to our disappointment everything was over priced and not too impressive. 12 bucks for a sammy!!? You're kidding! pfft. We rolled out of there without looking back. So sad. Things turned around for us when we noticed Blick (the art supply store) on the opposite corner. We ignored our hunger and headed in that direction. Lizzeth needed some new art supplies so we shopped around for some acrylic paint and a few canvas panels. I decided to join in on the fun as well and bought a few things. Honestly, painting together was very nostalgic. I really enjoyed it. I'm envious of how talented she is without trying! Hm! I'll get better though. ahha.

The night ended with a mandatory meeting at work and chicken nuggets with my co-worker/bff, PETE!! I LOVE PETE!!!!

Well, 2 more days until blast off to Miami! Still not as excited as I thought I was going to be. Maybe It'll hit me on Friday night. Or who knows, maybe even two hours before departure. We can only wait and see. I came home to see a luggage carrier on my bed. I think it's a sign from my mom telling me to hurry the fuck up and start packing. I guess I'll get on that tomorrow or maybe 2 hours before my plane takes off. Who knows, we'll see.

Han Solo the Poet

So I just wanted to formally introduce my puppy to the world. Well, he's not too much of a puppy anymore. Actually, he's quite big and stinky and non-puppy like. I love him with all my heart. He's one of the best things that has occurred to me in this past year. He makes me happy, smile, laugh, talk to him, angry, and annoyed. But all in all, he's the best! His name is HAN SOLO. He is a Boston Terrier. Quite different from most. Hence his light brown coat and green eyes. He will turn a year on July 12th! I'm really excited about that. Maybe he'll mature a bit and stop chewing on my damn carpet and stop eating Luna's (my kitty) poop! Well, that's Solo.

Btw, I absolutely adore sleeping with him! Although he may stink, he keeps me warm at night. :)

Each day just gets better and better. School is becoming a tad bit more smooth and work a tad bit more fun. Miami is right around that corner and I can't wait! I've been trying to spend these last few days with my closest friends, that way I wont go crazy without them while I'm gone. I KNOW! I'M A TINY BIG PENIS. SO WUH!?!? I'm very content to admit that I've just realized how much I've missed one of my best friends from high school. It didn't hit me until I finally hung out with him tonight. He brought back old memories from high school and it made me very excited. Bowling was a blast. Well, it always is. I'm happy to inform the world that I'm getting more and more promising as I get more practice. ahah
On another note, I've decided what classes I'm taking next semester. They're a tad bit more challenging, but I really need to test myself. This year is going by way too quickly. I feel as if I'm moving in slow motion, while everyone else is doing their on thing at a regular pace. I really need to figure shit out before it's too late. I think this is it for tonight. I love my friends. I love that they're healthy, happy, sane, and I love that they're mine.<3

So this Thursday, Lizzeth, Eric, Nestor, Eric's friend, and I decided to head over to the DT Art Walk. There hasn't been much time for fun, with school and work, so this was the perfect opportunity to get away and enjoy the company of my best people and  the great artists of DT. We roamed around many galleries and had a blast doing so. Here and there performers were playing their instruments on the street, hair stylists were cutting hair near the cross walk, and of course the hot dog cooks were posted on every corner. Thankfully! I love my DT hot dogs! I could smell them from blocks away! These photos here were taken by Lizzeth of course. She really is something and I love it. After checking out some galleries we all headed to the flee market and admired the arts and crafts people made out of scratch and pure talent. I bought some awesome earrings made by this artists that I've purchased from before. Lizzeth and Eric bought these necklaces that are pretty fkn awesome! I really had a great time even though I was strained from work. I plan on attending every 2nd week of the month. I also recommend all of you guys to go too. There is no doubt anybody couldn't enjoy it. Well, this is it for now. Have a great week everybody.

I probably wont blog this week. I'll be very busy planning and packing for Miami. I'm frkn stocked! I need to go shopping for some bathing suits and of course I'm buying the luggage I blogged about earlier. Excited!! See you guys later!<3
